This Cookie Policy explains how Creative Engines ("we," "us") uses cookies and similar technologies (including browser local storage) on creativeengines.ai (the "Site"). Read it together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What these technologies are
Cookies are small text files a site places on your device to remember your actions and preferences. We also use local storage (data saved in your browser that isn't sent with every request) and consent signals passed to our analytics tools. Under EU/UK ePrivacy rules, the same consent requirements that apply to cookies also apply to local storage used for non-essential purposes — so we treat them the same way.
2. Categories
- Strictly necessary — required for the Site to work and to remember your privacy choice. Cannot be switched off.
- Functional / security — protect the Site from bots and abuse.
- Analytics — help us understand how visitors use the Site. Consent-based (see §5).
- Marketing — advertising / retargeting. We do not currently use any marketing cookies (no advertising pixels). If that changes, this policy and the cookie banner will be updated before any such tag goes live.

Cloudflare's security cookies appear only when its bot-protection is triggered, not on every visit. Google Analytics and PostHog set identifiers only after you consent; before consent (and for EU/EEA/UK visitors who decline) they run in a reduced, cookieless mode — no cookie, no persistent identifier, no stored IP address.

We do not sell cookie or analytics data.
5. Legal basis
- Strictly necessary & security — our legitimate interest in running the Site safely; no opt-out is offered for these.
- Analytics — your consent, given via the cookie banner. Analytics does not run (or runs only in a reduced, cookieless mode) until you consent, for visitors in the EU/EEA/UK.
6. Change or withdraw your consent
You can change your choice at any time. This resets your stored preference and, where a banner is required for your region, shows it again on the next page load.
You can also clear cookies and local storage for this Site in your browser settings, or block cookies generally (which may affect functionality).
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as our tools or legal obligations change. Material changes update the "Last updated" date above, and where required we will prompt you to re-confirm your choices.
